How do I get API Keys for AI Summaries?
You must provide an API key for your chosen summarization engine. Get your key directly from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), or Google Gemini. Once inserted in the Voxis PRO settings panel, the feature is unlocked instantly.
How do I get API Keys for Neural Voices?
Each provider requires its own specific API key. Google Cloud TTS requires a standard GCP API key (not a Gemini key). OpenAI requires an API key with billing enabled. ElevenLabs requires an active subscription key.
Does it send my site's data to third parties?
By default, the Native Free TTS runs locally inside the user's browser. However, when you enable PRO Neural Voices or AI Summaries, the text content of your posts is sent securely via API to your selected provider (e.g. OpenAI or ElevenLabs) strictly for audio/text generation.
Do I need separate subscriptions for OpenAI or ElevenLabs?
Yes. Our PRO plugin operates on a "Bring-Your-Own-Key" model. This allows you to pay direct wholesale prices directly to the AI companies based on your actual character count, with absolutely zero markups from us.
How much does it cost to generate Audio and Summaries?
Costs are extremely low. For example, using OpenAI: Audio (TTS-1) costs about $15.00 per 1 million characters (roughly $0.075 for a 5,000 character article). Does the Text Highlighting work with AI Summaries?
No. AI Summaries rewrite the text into a condensed format, meaning the spoken audio no longer perfectly matches your original article text. Therefore, sentence-by-sentence highlighting is intelligently turned off during summary playback.
How does the Bulk Generator work?
You can mass-generate audio or summaries across your whole site. If a post already has an MP3, the Bulk Generator will automatically skip the audio step to conserve your API credits and focus solely on creating the missing summary.
